Gravesham Town FC-the beginning

Gravesham Town was created in the summer of 2006 after a long established club, The Owls, failed to continue.Our current under 14 team was one of the last remaining teams that carried the Owl name, and not willing to give up football and a desire to see the team remain intact, Mr Kevin Price, started the beginnings of Gravesham Town FC.
Many of the team had younger siblings and soon two Under 7 teams were formed. In June 2006 an existing Under 10 team arrived, along with two new coaches.
Gravesham Town FC registered with the Kent County FA , and the Gravesham Boys & Primary League at the start of the 2006/2007 season.

The First season.

The first season saw all the teams have success with highs and lows.
A kit launch at the beginning the season made the local press with all the teams proudly showing off the brand new kit and tracksuits.
The club's first presentation was held at the Inn on the Lake in June 2007.
Kevin Price stood down as Chairman in January 2007, Mark Webster took over the reins and remains as the current Club Chairman.
