Gravesham Town enjoyed a beautiful sunny day at sutton at hone on Saturday 6th June,2006
after only losing 1 game during the group stages and beating off tough competion, they played the semi against Swanscombe Tigers. going into extra time and then penaltys it was nail biting stuff.
But after a fantastic save by the Gravsham Town keeper they made the Final.

Again going into extra time and being one player down due to the heat the Gravesham keeper again made this time two great saves and Gravesham Town sealed the cup.

Well done Boys you were great.

KCFA Charter Standard tournament 6th Aug (16/08/2006)

Gravesham Town along with Swanscombe Tigers proved that the standard of football which we play in this borough is somthing to be proud of.
A special day which was only open to clubs who have achieved charter standard or who are working towards it.
Clubs from all over Kent took part from the kent youth league the Bexley league & The Maidstone league to name a few.
The standard was very high with most of the clubs being affiliated to larger semi professional clubs, Graversham Town put on outstanding performaces and look a strong comtender to make to make the final.
Unlucky in the semi final to Deal Gravesham Town had all the play but after full time they lost out on penaltys.
A great day was had by all and I am very proud of the boys and parents for their effort and conduct on the day.

First Game (13/09/2006)

Our first game was against Real Gima on Sunday 17th September 2006 at Northfleet Techology College.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
