Gravesham Town Under 12s Team was borne out of the Owls football Club which disbanded at the end of season 2005/2006.
Parents and children wanted to continue, and it was decided that Kevin would run with the one team of under 12s for the 2006/2007 season.
However, since then it has expanded to under 8s, under 9s under 11s and under 13s although they have their own managers and coaches.
At the moment Gravesham Town is working towards becoming a Charter Standard Club.
Training is important and regular training on Saturdays is a must.
The future looks promising for Gravesham Town and people not only within the club but at the sports development from the local council and the K.C.F.A are providing us with lots of help an advice on bringing the club forward and developing the children to the best of their ability.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
