Born in Dartford, I spent most of my early years playing my club football in goal. Those playing days are long gone and now channel all my energies into running the club.
This is a fairly new club, and my long term goals is to see the club continue to grow with additional teams in all the age groups. My aim is to not just encourage boys and girls to play football, but also give support and training to those adults who wish to start coaching.
The club has had a fantastic first few years which has seen the teams not just grow in numbers, but all the players have developed their skills.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
